Large Diamond Blocks
You will need –
- 42 extra large diamonds. These are 60 degree diamonds with a side measurement of 6″
Download a printable diamond PDF.
These diamonds are used to create 14 extra large hexagons.
For the optional large blocks, take 3 of the large diamonds and tape together to create a large hexagon.
Make 6 of these extra large hexagons using your favourite large print fabrics.
The remaining 24 diamonds are joined to make 8 extra large hexagons. These can be joined immediately or you can wait until the entire quilt is laid out to balance colour and print.
