Block 28 - October 5


You will need –
- 1 medium hexagon in a light toned fabric. This is perfect piece for fussy cutting.
- 6 medium kite shapes in a medium toned fabric
- 6 medium elongated triangles in a light toned fabric. I have chosen to use a background style fabric to highlight the shape of the star

Join the 6 kite shapes to the centre hexagon to create a star.

Add the medium elongated triangles to the outer edge in a continuous row of stitching to complete the block.
Block 29 - October 11


You will need –
- 3 medium elongated hexagons in a medium toned print
- 6 medium half hexagons in dark toned print
- 6 small triangles in a light toned print

Join the small triangles to the medium half hexagons. Create 6 identical units.

Join a completed unit to each side of the elongated hexagons. Create 3 identical units.

Block 30 - October 16


You will need –
- 4 medium diamonds in a medium toned fabric
- 2 medium half hexagons in a dark toned fabric
- 2 medium diamonds in a light toned fabric
- 3 medium triangles in a light toned fabric
- 3 medium triangles in a light toned fabric with a slight contrast to the other triangles

Join a triangle from each light toned fabric to a dark toned half hexagon.

Joining the remaining triangles into pairs. Use these pairs and the remaining diamonds to create 2 large diamonds.

Join a completed diamond to a completed large triangle unit. Repeat to make 2 units. Join these 2 units together to complete the block.
Block 31 - October 21


You will need –
- 6 medium hexagons in a medium toned fabric
- 6 medium diamonds in a dark toned fabric
- 2 medium diamonds in a light toned fabric
- 2 small triangles in a dark toned fabric

Join the hexagons into rows of 3. Make 2 identical sets.

Join a small dark toned triangle and a medium dark toned diamond to the hexagon unit. Again make 2 identical units.

Join 2 medium dark toned diamonds to the opposite side of the hexagon unit. Again make 2 identical units.

Add the remaining light toned diamonds to the completed units.

Join the 2 units together to complete the block.
Block 32 - October 25


You will need –
- 3 large triangles in a dark toned fabric
- 9 small triangles in a medium toned fabric
- 18 small triangles in a light toned fabric

These units are made up of 3 rows. The top row is just 1 small light toned triangle. The middle row is made up of 2 light toned triangles and a medium toned triangle. The largest row is made up of 3 light toned triangles and 2 medium toned triangles.

Join the completed rows together to make a large triangle.

Make 3 identical triangle units.

Join the triangle units to the large dark toned triangles into sets of 3 alternating the units. Join the 2 units together to complete the block.
